Grounded in Family. Invested in Tahoe.

A Local Business Owner, Social Worker, and Community Advocate Dedicated to Our Future.

Meet Dina Ramaha-Pino

I am running for South Lake Tahoe City Council because I believe our community thrives when we lead with empathy, accountability, and a shared vision for the future.

A Proven Leader in Mental Health & Conflict Resolution

For over two decades, I have dedicated my professional life to mental health and human well-being. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and the founder of the Conscious Mind Therapy Institute, I have spent my career helping individuals and families navigate crises, overcome challenges, and find common ground.

My work in psychiatric emergency services, crisis intervention, and family advocacy has given me a deep understanding of the real issues facing everyday people. On the City Council, I will bring these exact skills—active listening, de-escalation, and collaborative problem-solving—to bridge divides and get things done for South Lake Tahoe.

A Local Business Owner Who Invests in Tahoe

Beyond my practice, you likely know me from behind the counter. Alongside my husband Dimas, I am the co-founder of Three Pines Coffee Company right here in South Lake Tahoe (honored to be named Best of Tahoe 2025!).

As a local small business owner and employer, I have skin in the game. I live the daily realities of our local economy, from navigating worker housing and the delicate balance of tourism to supporting a vibrant, sustainable local workforce. I understand what it takes to keep a business thriving while staying deeply rooted in community values.

Grounded in Family and Community

South Lake Tahoe is where my husband and I choose to raise our daughter, Luna. I am a proud Palestinian-American, a multilingual communicator (fluent in English, Arabic, and Spanish), an advanced yoga teacher, and a deep lover of the outdoors.

I believe that South Lake Tahoe deserves leadership that reflects the diverse, hard-working, and passionate nature of the people who live here. I am ready to listen to your concerns, advocate for your families, and work tirelessly for a sustainable, healthy, and vibrant Tahoe.
